We eat a lot of food during Iftar during Ramadan, which
causes many of us to gain quite a bit of weight. However, if we want, we can
take the opportunity to lose extra weight during the month of Ramadan.
Proper diet of Ramadan:
Light Iftar: Iftar is done after a full day of fasting,
so what is eaten at Iftar throughout Ramadan is the most important thing. At
Iftar, food should not be eaten on a full stomach.
Iftar should be eaten-
Lemon juice, a date, salad, sour yogurt, seasonal fruits,
juice, canned water, tokma juice etc.
Sufficient water:
The best way to control your weight during Ramadan is to
drink enough water from Iftar to Sehri. Drinking two glasses after Iftar, 4
glasses till dinner and Sehri, 2 glasses during Sehri fulfills the requirement.
Moreover, this water will keep the amount of sugar under control.
What to eat at Sehri:
Thinking that we will not eat for the whole day, we eat
full stomach at Sehri. That's not right at all. eat foods rich in protein,
iodine and vitamins in Sehri to keep weight under control and stay healthy.
Such as fruits, boiled vegetables, vegetable salad, milk or sour curd, rice or
bread, fish or chicken or eggs and pulses.
Also, sleep for at least 7 to 8 hours to stay refreshed.
To keep the body active, a little work should be done in a day.
