During the holy month of Ramadan, there is a change in the meal schedule of all the fasting people. Many people do not understand what kind of food is healthy after fasting all day. Although habits vary, everyone should maintain a reasonable caloric intake for health.

Health awareness in Ramadan which should be done:

* Drinking more water:

There is a risk of dehydration in the body due to fasting for a long time in summer. So drink plenty of water before and after Iftar. Avoid high sugar drinks and processed fruit juices and instead drink lemonade, canned water and homemade fruit juices during this time. Juicy fruits, watery vegetables like cucumber, tomato etc. will also help to fill the body with dehydration.

* Avoid eating fried foods:

Most of the foods common in Iftar like onion pakora, cooked chickpeas, boiled chickpeas, fried brinjal etc. which prepared by oil and provide high calories. These foods are very harmful to health while fasting. So the less oil used in food the better. To avoid oil, you can eat raw chickpeas boiled or soaked in water instead of fried chickpeas. Instead of fried food, you can sometimes eat curd, boiled noodles or pasta, soft khichuri, oatmeal etc.

* To take Sehri in full:

The practice of fasting without eating Sehri is not good at all. Non-vegetarian food should be eaten with sugar or rice-bread on the last night. At this time, you should have a full meal. Milk can also be consumed. It is the main meal of the day, much like lunch
